the freedom wall

The Freedom Wall is a digital sanctuary where players can break the “silent home” by sharing their personal reflections on digital decay and family intimacy. It serves as a collective space for the community to post anonymous notes and stories, turning individual isolation into shared solidarity. By contributing, players take their first step toward dismantling their “armored” defenses and reclaiming authentic, face-to-face connections.

But before you write… pause for a moment. Think about your own home. Is it quiet because no one is there.. Or because everyone is looking at their screens? Take your time to ask yourself: “Do I feel ignored during special moments with my family?” “Do I also ignore others when I use my phone?” “When was the last time I actually had a real conversation?”

These questions may feel simple… but they can be heavy. They help you see what is really happening behind the screen. As you reflect and share your story, you are not just… posting. You are facing the silence, breaking it, and taking one small step at a time to real communication.

The story and characters make me feel seen in my current relationship with my parents. Lowk, it’s giving me the courage to address this issue with them. Thank you for creating this. Hopefully I can make them see my pov

I dont know it feels like my parents were too busy with work to pay attention to us growing up but like whenever they had time it was spent in bossing us siblings around, honestly everyone in the house was like that so i dont think i developed a real deep connection with any of them so I guess that meant I had more meaningful relationships online, which makes having a gadget/watching something/talking to someone online is more rewarding to me than trying to interact with my family
